kieto Chichibu – Accommodation Policy
At kieto Chichibu (hereinafter “the Accommodation Facility”), operated by Atami Golf Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “the Company”), we have established the following Accommodation Policy (hereinafter “this Policy”) in accordance with Article 9 of the Accommodation Agreement (hereinafter “the Agreement”) to ensure a safe and comfortable stay for all our guests. Please review this Policy carefully.
We request that you comply with the instructions provided by our staff in accordance with both the Agreement and this Policy.
Additionally, guests with pets must agree to the Pet Accommodation Terms and Conditions.
In accordance with Article 4 of the Agreement, guests who fail to comply with this Policy may result in refusal of access to the facilities or accommodation.
The Accommodation Facility assumes no responsibility for any damages incurred by guests as a result of non-compliance with this Policy. Should any damage occur to the Accommodation Facility due to non-compliance, guests are responsible for compensating for such damages.
Article 1 [Use of the Accommodation Facility]
The Accommodation Facility is intended for lodging purposes only. Commercial activities are strictly prohibited. Distribution, posting of advertisements, or the sale of goods on the premises without prior permission is prohibited. Distributing flyers or conducting signature campaigns for promotional purposes is not allowed. Displaying items that may alter the exterior appearance of the Accommodation Facility may be refused. Accommodation by minors without parental consent may be denied. Gratuities or tips to staff are respectfully declined.
Article 2 [Guest Rooms]
Ensure your guest room is securely locked at all times during your stay. Verify the identity of any visitors while keeping the room locked. Do not unlock the door for unfamiliar individuals. Do not invite or permit unregistered persons (as per Article 7 of the Agreement) to enter or stay in your guest room. In accordance with Article 16 of the Agreement, staff may enter guest rooms or move items within the room. Guests are responsible for managing cash and valuables. Inform staff in advance if there are items that should not be moved. For sanitary reasons, guest rooms will be cleaned every three days, even if guests request otherwise. Additional cleaning may be performed as necessary. Housekeeping services will not be provided while guests (including pets) are present in the room.
Article 3 [Common Areas, etc.]
Familiarize yourself with the evacuation map upon arrival. Do not enter staff-only areas. Do not leave personal belongings unattended in common areas.
Article 4 [Hygiene Management]
Guests suspected of having norovirus, other food poisoning viruses, or infectious diseases as defined under the Act on the Prevention of Infectious Diseases may have their access to the facilities restricted.
Article 5 [Photography]
Commercial photography or audio recording on the premises without prior permission is strictly prohibited. Refrain from photography that may disturb or cause discomfort to other guests. Photography without consent, even for private purposes, may be prohibited.
Article 6 [Smoking]
The entire Accommodation Facility, including guest rooms, is non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas. Smoking in non-designated areas will result in liability for restoration costs and compensation for lost operating time.
Article 7 [Consideration for Other Guests]
Pets that do not meet the eligibility criteria specified in Article 2 of the Pet Accommodation Terms and Conditions are not permitted. Pets are only allowed in designated pet areas. Accompanying pets in non-designated areas is prohibited. Do not introduce items that emit unpleasant odors into the Facility. Refrain from shouting, loud singing, playing loud music, or making excessive noise. In areas outside guest rooms, guests may be required to adhere to a dress code set by the Facility. Avoid wearing attire or exhibiting behavior that may disturb other guests.
Article 8 [Public Morals]
Gambling, disruptive behavior, or any actions or speech that violate public morals are prohibited. Bringing illegal items (e.g., firearms, swords, or narcotics) that may endanger others is prohibited. Items that cause others to feel unsafe or threatened are strictly prohibited on the premises. Guests or their parties identified as members of organized crime or anti-social groups (as defined under the Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members) will be denied further use of the Facility. Involvement in or suspicion of violence, threats, extortion, coercion, obstruction of business, or any illegal activity will result in refusal of further use of the Facility.
Article 9 [Preservation of Buildings and Facilities]
Do not move, modify, or use equipment or furnishings for purposes other than their intended use. Flammable or explosive items (e.g., gunpowder or volatile liquids) are prohibited on the premises. The use of open flames or heating devices in guest rooms is prohibited (except for cooking appliances provided as part of meal plans). Refrain from any actions that could cause a fire. Guests may be required to compensate for any damage, loss, soiling, or odor caused to the building, equipment, furnishings, or landscaping.
Article 10 [Personal Belongings and Lost Items]
Guests are responsible for managing their personal belongings, including cash and valuables. The Facility assumes no responsibility for loss or damage. Items found in common areas or guest rooms after checkout will be kept for a limited period before disposal. Costs incurred to return found items to their owners will be borne by the owner.
The Facility cannot store the following items:
- Artworks, antiques, musical instruments, or items of uncertain value.
- Devices that record information (e.g., computers or mobile phones).
- Items containing personal information (e.g., customer lists).
Article 11 [Payment of Fees]
Accommodation fees and other charges must be paid at the time of reservation using an approved credit card. Shipping charges for returning lost items will be paid on a collect basis by the owner.
Article 12 [Amendment of this Policy]
This Policy may be amended to serve the general interests of guests or for reasonable cause. Amendments will be posted on the Company’s designated website and take effect on the specified date. Guests will be notified of changes through appropriate means (e.g., written notice or information bulletin).
